A Bit of Background
Here at the Adopt a Grandparent Program, we strive to create lasting relationships between students and the elderly. By visiting residents of retirement communities regularly, students help ease social isolation in the elderly population and promote mutual learning and understanding. The Adopt a Grandparent Program goes beyond service and creates relationships that last a lifetime.
